Meet the Team
The Pension Studio was formed in 2004 and currently provides administrative services to over 1,500 retirement plans. Emphasis is placed on service and technology with the goal of making sure all participants are assured the ability to provide for themselves in retirement. We have a staff of over 40 professionals including enrolled actuaries, plan consultants, and specialists in VCP filings, ESOP and various other aspects of pension management and administration.

Ellen enjoys fostering the growth of The Pension Studio by helping clients and financial advisors implement successful retirement plans. Ellen earned her MBA from Babson and Plymouth State Colleges with an undergraduate degree in business and economics from St. Anselm College. The Pension Studio prides itself on being a growing TPA and one truly dedicated to the plan participant.
Ellen and her husband Alan Gould also run the Darbster Foundation which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that’s located in West Palm Beach, FL. The mission is to reduce the number of adoptable cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies that are being euthanized in Palm Beach County and South Florida. We are able to achieve our mission by partnering with animal shelters and rescue groups in the South Florida area to transport homeless pets to our facilities in New Hampshire and our rescue partners throughout New England. Dana Tracy specializes in helping clients and retirement focused advisors with plan design strategies. Since joining The Pension Studio in 2009, Dana has overseen the smooth implementation of hundreds of retirement plans and focuses on sales and business development for TPS. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Summa Cum Laude in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Dana loves that each day with The Pension Studio brings a new challenge and opportunity to assist clients with their retirement needs. Dana lives in West Palm Beach with her husband Marc, and dogs Elliot and Sammy. She enjoys staying active by running and indoor cycling, cooking and traveling as often as possible.

Claudia has an impressive background in the retirement planning industry. Prior to joining the Pension Studio, Claudia was a Senior Client Specialist at a regional TPA firm for over 6 years. She was responsible for servicing a large portfolio of retirement plans by providing expertise in their implementation, operation and daily administration. In addition, Claudia conducted investment and enrollment education meetings with plan participants. She is fluent in both English and Spanish which enhances her ability to meet the needs of the diverse South Florida community. Her strong client relationship and effective communication skills keep the client experience running efficiently. In 2010 she completed the Retirement Plan Fundamentals (RPF) program of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA).
Claudia has an online boutique where she expresses her love for fashion. She also enjoys event coordinating, party planning and creating flower arrangements. She resides in Miami, Florida with her husband who is an ERISA Attorney and her two kids, Lucas (age 9) and Madison (age 3). In her spare time she enjoys the beach, CrossFit and rollerblading.

Julie Casey specializes in the design, implementation and oversight of retirement plans crafted to meet the specific needs of clients, advisors, and CPAs throughout the New England and New York areas.
Before joining The Pension Studio, Julie was Associate Vice President of Client Services at a national TPA firm, where she managed a team of experienced Client Service Specialists. Her forte then, as now, was to offer her clients the most effective and cost efficient retirement plans for small to medium sized businesses. Prior to that position, Julie was the Operations Manager for a Rhode Island-based TPA firm, where she managed a team of defined contribution and defined benefit administrators.
Julie’s twenty plus years’ experience in complex plan design and administration affords her the background to ask clients the right questions for an efficient, fully compliant design and a streamlined on-boarding experience. She truly enjoys sharing the tax savings benefits of retirement plans with her clients.
Julie earned her MBA from the University of Rhode Island and her BA from the University of Connecticut. She lives in Narragansett, RI with her husband and son. In her downtime, she enjoys boating, paddle boarding, and skiing. She is currently a Committee Member of Boy Scout Troop 44 Matunuck, and was a Cub Scout leader for many years.
Melanie Williamson, Director of Administration: firstname.lastname@example.org
As the Director of Administration, Melanie is responsible for The Pension Studio’s day-to-day operations. She works closely with The Pension Studio’s team of Consultants on complex technical issues, Voluntary Correction Program filings, and escalated client relationship issues. She has been in the retirement industry since 1989.
Melanie earned her MBA and undergraduate degrees from New Hampshire College. She is an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA), and maintains her Accredited Pension Administrator (APA) and Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) designations.
Melanie splits her time between The Pension Studio’s New Hampshire and Florida offices. She loves to cook, enjoys good wine with great friends, and is a self-diagnosed craft supply hoarder. Along with her Fleur de lis obsession, Go Saints!!! She is now an avid Gators Fan and loves to visit her oldest daughter in Gainesville whenever she is permitted.
